The Jamnagar Municipal Corporation has appointed the city's MP. The Seva Setu programme was organised at Shah Town Hall. The event was graced by Arjunbhai Modhwadia, Cabinet Minister of Gujarat State and Minister in charge of Jamnagar district. In which more than 1200 applicants were availed of various government works. The Minister personally visited the stalls of various government departments set up at the Town Hall in the city. He inspected the stalls of health check-ups, Aadhar cards, ration cards, income streams and social security schemes. The Minister interacted with the applicants present on the spot and listened to their representations and distributed the scheme benefits.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the Seva Setu programme is a powerful effort to take the administration to the doorsteps of the people. The government is committed to ensure that the common man does not have to visit government offices for small and big work and all the basic services are available at one place.On this occasion, MLA Divyeshbhai Akbari, Deputy Mayor Krishnaben Sodha, Standing Committee Chairman Nileshbhai Kagathra, Leader of the Ruling Party Ashishbhai Joshi, Collector Ketan Thakkar, Deputy Commissioner Zala, officials, leaders and a large number of citizens were present.
