Today's era is the era of social media, but if used properly, it can change someone's life. Hemraj Rabari, a resident of Dakor, has proved this to be true. Through the 'Maldhari page' on social media, he has so far raised a total of Rs. An amount of Rs. 1,08,43,560 has been collected and sent directly to the victims, setting an excellent example of humanity. This work is being done since February 2020, specifically for castes belonging to Rabari and Bharwad communities. The biggest help so far was for the liver transplant of Rajabhai of Porbandar, in which in just 3 days through social media, Rs. Rs 21 lakh was collected. In every district, the team verified and made good use of social media to create a 'foundation' to limit online payments.
Initially, the donation amount went directly to the victim's account, but due to the limit on Google Pay or bank account, he set up 'Amidhara Foundation' to ensure that the 'mission' did not stop. "We publish bank statements at the time of starting and completing the mission. The donor Rs. Give 51 or 1 lakh, we put up a post with everyone's photo."
This service work started with a heart-wrenching incident in Una. A father and two young sons were killed while trying to rescue the animals that were drowning in a lake in Una. The incident shook Hemraj and he vowed to provide financial support to such bereaved families through social media. So far 20 people have been helped with critical illness
So far, he has helped 20 families in serious illness, 8 widows financially and 3 students in education. In case of an accidental death, funds are collected immediately so that the family does not become destitute. The family of Karshanbhai, who died due to electrocution during Mataji's Punj Utsav, has been given Rs. An amount of Rs 4.74 lakh was disbursed.
