An important development has come to light in the ragging case at Dharpur Medical College in Patan. Sessions Court Judge M.A. Shaikh has rejected the discharge applications of the two accused. A total of 15 accused were chargesheeted in the case. Among the accused, Patel Avdhesh and Hiren Prajapati had filed discharge applications seeking discharge from the case. Considering the arguments of Special Public Prosecutor Vijay Barot, the court rejected the applications of both the accused. Now charges will be framed against all the 15 accused in this case. The decision will lead to further proceedings in the case and initiate legal proceedings against the accused.
