In view of the increasing number of passengers going home during the Holi festival, special arrangements were made by the Gandhinagar Bus Depot from February 26 to March 3. During this period, 153 additional buses were operated on Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad-Dahod routes. A total of 300 trips were made by these buses and a total of 8852 passengers used these additional bus services. This additional management has resulted in a total turnover of Rs. An income of Rs 20,31,878 was recorded. During the days of Holi, a large number of people travel to their hometowns. As a result, there is a rush at bus stands and other public transport places. In view of this situation, additional buses are arranged by the transport department every year. This year too, before the increase in the number of passengers, a special arrangement was made by the Gandhinagar Bus Depot. Additional buses were run from February 26 to March 3 to facilitate passengers. Under this arrangement, 153 additional buses were operated on Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad to Dahod routes. A total of 300 trips were made by these buses so that buses are available for passengers to reach their destinations comfortably. A total of 8852 passengers used these additional bus services. The operation of additional buses during this period will cost a total of Rs. An income of Rs 20,31,878 was recorded.
