Sunny Mishra, a student of Navsari Naran Lala College, made history at the national level: 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in gymnastics

Sunny A. Mishra, a bright student of F.Y.B.B., Naran Lala College, Navsari, has brought laurels to the entire state of Gujarat, Navsari district and the whole country by displaying exceptional sporting skills at the national level. Sunny Mishra has achieved a historic feat by winning a total of 4 medals (2 silver and 2 bronze) at the recent National Championships held in Mysore, Karnataka. The All Age Group Acrobatic Gymnastics National Championships 2026-27 were organized by the Gymnastics Federation of India (GFI) from 3rd to 5th August 2026 in Mysore (Karnataka). The best players from various states across the country participated in this national competition. Sunny Mishra, who participated in the Junior Group Mixed Pair event, won a silver medal in the balance event, a silver medal in the dynamic event, a bronze medal in the mixed pair overall and a bronze medal in the team games event.Physical education lecturer Dr. Sunny Mishra has been instrumental in bringing this national level success. Mayur Patel's proper guidance as well as trainer Gayatriben Patel's hard work and skill-enhancing training proved crucial.
