The one you heard is Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He frequently travels abroad with a bowl of begging. We know that there was a deal on the Free Trade Agreement between India and the European Union. Europe did not impose any tax on Pakistan's textiles but imposed it on India. If it is not done now, India's textiles will reach Europe directly and Pakistan will lose crores of rupees in the textile market and millions of people will lose their jobs. That's all right, but now earning cricket is also going to be hit. Pakistan has suffered a major blow due to the interference of cricket today. On top of that, 22 of their Islamic friendly Arab countries have reached Delhi today with trade talks, in the budget presented yesterday, Pakistan has also got an indirect reply by increasing defense. All this was going on and the news came on TV that the Baloch Liberation Army of Balochistan had started attacking the government employees and the army of Pakistan to break away from Pakistan. In short, today we want to talk about the glamorous situation of Pakistan, how Pakistan is declining on all five fronts and India is becoming a global power. Namaskar. The situation in Pakistan today is due to its toxic mix of economic helplessness, nation-building on religious ideology and military arrogance. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's statement that we are ashamed to beg is in fact a demolition of the morale of a nation. We will talk about it later, but first let's talk about cricket because there is a lot of craze for cricket in India and Pakistan. The BCCI has not allowed Mustafizur Rahman to play in the IPL due to the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh, social and political riots. He was dropped from the team by KKR on January 3 at the behest of the BCCI. The Bangladesh government has refused to play matches in India in the T20 World Cup to be played on February 7. So the ICC expelled Bangladesh from the World Cup and gave Scotland an entry. This led to Pakistan threatening to pull out of the World Cup in support of Bangladesh. So the ICC, which gives money to the Pakistan Cricket Board every year, refused to give the NOC to the Pakistan Super League, all this went on and Pakistan announced the team. As a result, Pakistan was ridiculed all over the world. Finally, he threatened not to play with India. However, the ICC has now given a clear threat to Pakistan that it should not be the case that you play the entire tournament and not play with any one country. As a result, Pakistan has been hit with crores of rupees and Pakistan cricket has come to a standstill. If we are talking about this, then we also have to talk about the ICC Champions Trophy of March 2025. After 20 years, Pakistan had the opportunity to host the ICC Champions Trophy. Pakistan spent crores of rupees to develop stadiums but India refused to play in Pakistan, due to which the Pakistan Cricket Board lost crores of rupees, including gate money, tickets and TV rides. At that time, the PCB had said that even though India refused, they had benefited in crores. But in March 2025, a 90 per cent cut in match fees for Pakistani cricketers and a stay in budget hotels instead of five-star hotels is saying something else. This is not just a defeat in the game but a defeat for Pakistan. This has made it clear that without India, Pakistan's cricket economy is also zero. Operation Harroof 2.0 The countries of the world are afraid to play cricket even on Pakistani soil because cricketers have been shot on Pakistani soil before. This is because the world knows that Pakistan is a bastion of terrorism. When this is being said, then we have to talk about the explosion in the mountains of Balochistan. Many organisations have launched an armed struggle against the Pakistan government to declare Balochistan a separate country from Pakistan. The Baloch Liberation Army launched Operation Harof-2. The BLA carried out simultaneous attacks in 12 districts of Balochistan. According to the Pakistan government, the BLA killed more than 70 people and Pak Army and police personnel near the China-Pakistan Corridor, including Quetta, Gwadar, Mustung. According to the BLA, they have killed 200 people and taken many hostages. You will be surprised to know that there is also a female fidai in this operation of the BLA. A 24-year-old medical student, Asifa Mengal, wearing a suicide jacket, blew herself up at the door of the ISI headquarters in Nushki. On the one hand, Pakistan dreams of conquering Kashmir and on the other hand, it cannot handle its own territory. Pakistan has had to deploy troops to prevent anything from happening to Chinese engineers in Gwadar. History is witness, after Partition in 1947, India focused on building institutions like IIT, IIM, ISRO and hospitals while Pakistan chose weapons and hatred. As a result, Pakistan not only lost its economy but also lost its image in the world. The example is nearby. In April 2025, terrorists from Pakistan infiltrated our Pahalgam and cowardly shot Indians in the head. In response, India launched Operation Sindhur in May and carried out airstrikes on Pakistan's terror outfits and blew up Pakistan's nuclear blackmailing balloons. After Operation Sindoor, India has increased the defence budget by a historic 15 percent. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has allocated Rs 7.85 lakh crore in the defence sector in this year's budget. The money will also be used to manufacture 114 Rafale jets, highly advanced drones and submarines. Pakistan's defence budget is 8-9 times smaller than India's. On the one hand, India is on the verge of building the world's fifth-most powerful military, and Pakistan is also seeking loans or begging from other countries for a defence budget of $9 billion. Pakistan's economic situation is terribly bad right now. India has also raised a hybrid warfare squadron called Bhairav Battalion. They are equipped with drones, electronic warfare and surveillance and have been deployed in Kashmir and Ladakh. Let's come back to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's statement of begging from Islamic countries. Pakistan's economic situation is currently terribly bad. Pakistan's GDP growth is not even half of the regional average. There is no water in their fields as India has initiated the process of suspending the Indus Water Treaty. India says blood and water cannot flow together. This has also led to an economic earthquake in Pakistan's textile, agriculture and fertilizer industries. Pakistan says we are a nuclear power country. But the time of 2026 has changed. An atomic bomb in the vault cannot fill the stomach of the people of the country. The collapse of Sri Lanka is a recent example. Countries, including the US and the West, now consider Pakistan as a liability and not as an asset. Anyway, it is a different matter that the US is using Pakistan to sell its weapons. However, India has also given a jolt to the United States from the Europe Free Trade Deal. The European Union is a big market for Pakistan in the textile and garment market. Until now, Pakistan did not charge any tax on exports to Europe under GSP+ i.e. Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus, while India had to pay import duty ranging from 8% to 12%. Because of this, the Pakistani textile industry remained competitive. But, with the implementation of the India-EU FTA, Indian textile exporters will not have to pay any tax on sending textiles to Europe. All Pakistan Textile Mills Association APTMA and former commerce minister Gohar Ejaz have warned on X that the GSP+ that Pakistan used to rely on has now been washed away against India's FTA deal. In short, the India-EU FTA is like a death knell for Pakistan. At present, an incident has taken place in Delhi, due to which Pakistan's concern is sky-high. What has happened is that 22 Arab Muslim countries have become guests of Delhi. The second India-Arab Foreign Ministers' meeting is being held in New Delhi. The meeting is expected to discuss and deal on a range of issues, including trade, energy and Palestine. Pakistan, which calls the Arab countries its traditional brothers and stands with a bowl to take loans, is executing billions of dollars worth of investment deals in India by 2030. In short, Pakistan's Islamic card has also come to expire due to India's growing economic dominance. At the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers' Summit held in Delhi, a tremendous thing was seen. One of the seven major issues of the meeting was terrorism. The meeting condemned terrorism in all its forms and demolished terror infrastructure, with reference to the Pahalgam attack. Between the Lines says that Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, which were once Pakistan's biggest donors, are now opposing terrorism in Pakistan and joining hands with India. But what does this have to do with what is happening? Pakistan is the fifth largest producer of cotton in the world. But it is at the bottom due to lack of water and electricity. Pakistan's $9 billion textile exports are also under threat due to the EU-INDIA FTA deal. The textile market of Gujarat and India is going to be cheaper in Europe. So the Pakistani textile industry is hit and the textile market in Surat or Ahmedabad or Jetpur is bad. And finally... After Pakistan, let's talk about China. There was a huge uproar in our parliament today because of China. It was said that Rahul Gandhi had met India's former Chief of Army Staff M. Quoting an unpublished book written by M Naravane, Naravane said that four Chinese tanks were coming on Indian soil in Doklam and were just 100 metres away. As soon as he said this, there was an uproar in Parliament. It is said that General Naravane has made many revelations about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval in his book. Now all eyes are on whether this book will hit the market or not. Monday through Friday at 8 p.m. Stay tuned to Editor's View. See you again tomorrow. Namaskar (Research- Sameer Parmar)
