Vadodara: A case has been registered against a visa consultant who absconded from Sayajiganj area of Vadodara for allegedly duping a youth of Rs 8 lakh in the name of sending him to New Zealand.
Chirag Patel, a resident of Brahmanwadi area of Unjha, told the police that he had contacted Viral Dineshbhai Shah (BH Complex, near L&T Circle, Karelibaug) through social media as he wanted to go to New Zealand.
The visa agent assured me that I would have to stay in Dubai for a month and from there I would keep a file in New Zealand and get a visa.
