Gandhinagar New Mayor: Gandhinagar gets new Mayor and Deputy Mayor

In the first general meeting of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, the Mayor, Deputy Matter and the members of the Standing Committee were elected. For the first time in the history of the Municipal Corporation, Roopsinh Thakor, the youngest person and the first time to win the election, was elected as the Mayor. Anjanaben Mehta, wife of the Brahmin community and the former president of the organization, was elected as the Deputy Mayor. At the same time, the experienced Mahendrabhai Patel was elected as the Chairman of the Standing Committee. While the leader of the ruling party, Jaspal Singh Bihola, a leader of the Kshatriya community, was also elected as the leader of the Rajput community. Sejalben Parmar, who hails from Jundal Rural, has been retained as the Dandak and retained the representation of the new areas merged with the Municipal Corporation. The new structure of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation shows that the state BJP chose Roopsinh Thakor, a 29-year-old young man, as the mayor to keep the organisation disciplined and the leader of the ruling party, an experienced chairman to run the administration and to send a new hopeful message to the public.
