'Wealth earned through shortcuts does not allow you to live happily': Bipin Hadhwani, the owner of a company worth Rs 3000 crore, said that living will be enjoyed with the money of hard work from the heart

When I came to Rajkot in 1990, I ran the business in partnership with my cousin for 4 years, then I handed over the business to him and I started the Gopal brand in 1994. At that time, there was not a single penny and I had to borrow everything and create a new market myself. At the age of 25, all this fell on me. These are the words of Bipin Hadhwani, MD of Gopal Snacks and a class 12 failure. The market cap of Gopal Snacks, which was started on credit, is 3000 crores today and Bipin Hadhwani's net worth is more than 1000 crores. Today the company exports more than 80 products to 10 countries including USA-UAE, UK, CANADA. While there are about 250 SKUs (Stock Keeping Units). Lakshmi Pujan has a special significance on the auspicious festival of Dhanteras and Diwali, while reading the second episode of the Bhaskar series 'The Secret of Wealth' of 5 businessmen who have reached the pinnacle of success after struggle Read a conversation with Bipinbhai Hadwani... Bipin Hadwani, the founder of Gopal Namkeen, says, "We have constantly struggled in the journey of life and advises that whatever wealth we get through constant struggle gives us happiness. So if there is no other alternative to hard work, then hard work should be done. Success and wealth are complementary to each other, but all have different parameters. So that the only thing that gives us satisfaction is the true success. 'Wealth obtained through short-cuts never allows us to live happily' The meaning of Lakshmi is that everyone only makes money, but in many senses, if a daughter is born to someone, then they are also called Lakshmi. That is why everyone thinks of Lakshmi according to their own thoughts. Wealth creation is useful for life and to live, wealth is needed, but efforts should be made to get wealth in the right way. Wealth obtained through shortcuts never allows us to live happily. In my opinion, we should get the property that we rightfully deserve. Giving the guru mantra about business, he said, "Work hard for business or job with a sincere heart and whatever money comes through that path will be useful to us and we will enjoy living life in peace." "If a small businessman runs a business, he will be as successful as Mukesh Ambani. Mukesh Ambani is also considered successful and if he is a small entrepreneur and his business is running properly, then he is also considered successful. If you talk about digesting success, then it is only by the grace of nature that we get it. If we understand that whatever we have got, it is not due to our intelligence but to nature's grace, then it will be digested. It is created from nothing, so the grace of Lakshmi ji has been increasing gradually. Earlier there was nothing, so whatever you get now is by the grace of Lakshmi and God, so I have never felt that Lakshmi has been ruthed in my life and Lakshmi is given to everyone according to their own karma. 'My wife is the lucky Lakshmi of my house' When Gopal started the brand, there was zero money. There was nothing. She borrowed everything, made it herself, packed it herself and started it and today by the grace of God, the business has grown so much, so we are very satisfied. Lucky Lakshmi ji of the house said that Lakshmi ji is my wife. Whoever is with us in the business. Apart from this, a Lakshmi ji came to my son's house. She is Shivangiji. She seems to have blessed us more. Today I have 5-7 cars. These include 2 BMWs, 2 Innova, one Audi, Fortuner, Brio and Taigun. When asked about jewellery and diamonds, she said, "Jewellery and diamonds are a matter of sisters. I don't wear any jewellery and I am not fond of jewellery. 'Lakshmi is pleased with us when we wish for the good of others' In response to the question of how he used to look at Lakshmi during the struggle, he says, "We have not made much efforts to get Lakshmi in the struggle. I think Lakshmi is pleased with us when we wish for the well-being of others. We always treat all the people who work with us as a family. So it has never occurred to us that there is a shortage of human beings. Talking about what he thinks about his Gen-Z age, he said, "We have never thought about money, so no one ever had all that money and everyone in our circle is like us, so everyone works hard. So I also thought that there is no other option but to work hard, so we have come forward after working very hard." Now know Bipin Hadhwani's struggled journey This journey of Bipin Hadhwani started from Bhadra village of Jamkandorana in Rajkot district. His father had a shop in which farsan was also sold. His father used to make farsan himself and then taught Bipinbhai's elder brother Mahendrabhai how to make namkeen. The elder brother taught Bipinbhai and Prafulbhai how to make different namkeen. Since he has been doing all these things in the business since the age of 13, the idea of moving forward in this business came to him. In the initial stage, without any name, he used to make chavanu and sell it in the village and then in the surrounding area. Business in the village is limited, so he thought of going to Rajkot. He started his business in Rajkot in the year 1990 with his cousin. At that time, both the brothers invested Rs. 8500 in the partnership. They invested Rs. 8500 and started selling Chavanu in the name of Gokul. Later, he handed over the brand to his cousin and in 1994 he made a new beginning at his home in Rajnagar, Rajkot. At that time, he borrowed oil and besan and this is how Gopal Namkeen started in his house. He used to hire a bicycle vendor to sell namkeen and sell the goods with a commission of Rs. 2. He used to take a commission of 2% from the sale of namkeen. With the money he earned, he used to buy new raw materials. Thus, we ran the cottage industry for 4 years. Within four years, Bipinbhai's hard work started paying off. In 1998, he bought a plot of land in Haripar Pad and built it. Bipinbhai thought that the business would also be exported to other places. But nothing of the sort happened. Finally, in 2001, he had to shift to Rajkot city. He sold the entire old place and started a business in Rajkot again. After running the business in first class for 7 years, he decided to develop the business again and set up a factory there by taking 2000 square feet of space in Vadwajadi. As the business grew, he also installed machinery and also built semi-automatic and automatic plants by taking the space. After that, in 2024, Gopal Snacks was also listed on the stock exchange. Why is the brand name 'Gopal'? All these things are fine, but how did the name Gopal come about? From the name of a son? Bipinbhai said, "Earlier, our brand was 'Gokul'. Later, when we started this, we named it 'Gopal' from Gokul. We believe more in Lord Krishna, so we decided to name it after Shri Krishna. So the name 'Gopal' came to my mind and kept it.'
