Another adulteration racket busted in the name of pure ghee. On the basis of a tip-off, a team of Gandhinagar Range IG raided a factory in Dahegam and busted a suspicious ghee manufacturing factory. The police raided the factory in the name of Anjali Marketing and seized a large quantity of suspicious ghee. The suspected ghee was made by mixing essence, colour and palm oil in the factory. It was sold in the market under the name of Anjani pure ghee and Anuj pure ghee. However, no one was present at the factory when the police raided. At present, the police have seized a large quantity of suspicious ghee, including a container for filling ghee. At the same time, the team of the Food and Drugs Department has also been informed and how much of this suspicious ghee has been sold so far. A probe is underway to find out who is the operator of the suspected ghee manufacturing factory.
