Former Chief Minister of the state and Governor of UP Anandiben Patel has opened a survey on the quality of food served in government hostels. At the convocation of Gorakhpur University, Governor Anandiben Patel mentioned that tiffin was being ordered as the canteen in the hostel was closed. I read a report on all issues including drugs in the hostel, missing internet, electricity problem, filth in the hostel. At the same time, he also talked about his experience of cow slaughter in Gujarat. Referring to the mess going on in Gujarat at that time in the testing of samples, Anandiben Patel said that the samples of food and materials were changed even before testing.
Anandiben Patel's statement has intensified politics in UP. Akhilesh Yadav took to social media to attack the BJP government.
