Bipin Darji, partner of pigeon wager Bobby Patel, arrested: Absconding accused in human trafficking-fake passport case arrested from Vijapur Chowki, accused with a reward of Rs 25,000

The state monitoring cell (SMC) was investigating a human trafficking and fake passport offence registered at Sola High Court police station in Ahmedabad city. In order to get pecuniary benefits in this crime, criminal conspiracy was hatched, false and fake passports and documents were made, people were sent to america illegally. His partner and agent Bipin Somabhai Darji, who was associated with the main accused Bharat alias Bobby Rambhai Patel in the racket, had been absconding for a long time. He has been arrested from Vijapur Chowki. The SMC is also learnt to have received more important details in this regard. There was a reward of Rs 25,000 on the accused. Police said that a warrant was first obtained under Section 70 of the CrPC against Bipin Somabhai Darji, an absconding accused in the crime. However, a notification under Section 82 of the CrPC was issued against the accused. Apart from this, a look out circular was also issued by the Immigration Department, Ministry of Home Affairs on the basis of his Indian passport number. A cash reward of Rs 25,000 was also announced for the person who provided the information or help in nabbing the accused. The accused Bipin Darji was nabbed from Vijapur chowki. Police further said that based on the information received from technical and human sources, two teams were sent to watch-check the accused. The accused Bipin Somabhai Darji was picked up from Vijapur Chowki by these teams. He was brought to the office of the State Monitoring Cell and legally detained at 10 pm on August 1, 2025. The accused admitted that he was a partner of Bobby Patel During interrogation of the accused, he confessed that he was a partner of the main accused Bharat alias Bobby Rambhai Patel in the business of sending people to the US illegally. His job was to bring customers who wanted to go to america, collect their documents and make a file, which file to give to which agent, and handle the responsibility of the customer's payment with the other accused. He said that for the last two-and-a-half years after the registration of the case, he was roaming around in Visnagar, Mehsana, Unjha, Vijapur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ranuja and Mumbai in Rajasthan. So far 12 accused have been arrested in the case. A mobile phone, a four-wheeler car and cash worth Rs 5,06,200 have been seized from the accused and an in-depth investigation of the accused has been carried out. Till date, a total of 12 accused have been arrested in this crime. A total of three accused, including the main accused Bharat alias Bobby Patel, have been in judicial custody for the last two-and-a-half years and a charge sheet has been filed against all the accused. Investigations are currently underway to get more evidence in the crime.
