Monsoon is likely to leave Gujarat in 2 to 3 days: Light rains are forecast in north-south Gujarat and Saurashtra-Kutch for two days.

The departure line of the southwest monsoon has currently passed through Deesa in north Gujarat and Naliya in Kutch. The situation is becoming favourable for the formal withdrawal of monsoon from most parts of Gujarat during the next 2-3 days. Due to the change in weather, cloudy weather is being seen in some parts of the state. After October 2, the amount of rainfall will decrease over the entire state and the weather will be completely dry. Light rain and wind forecast During next 2 days, rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Banaskantha, Patan and Vav-Tharad in north Gujarat, Surat, Tapi, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad and Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli in south Gujarat. Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph very likely at isolated places over Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Kutch and Diu of Saurashtra-Kutch. Temperature and Dry Weather The weather is likely to remain mainly dry in the rest of the state, including Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad recorded a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 22.6 degrees Celsius. Surendranagar recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius in the entire state.
