Gujarat weather: The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains in the state till 1 pm as the monsoon is in full swing in Gujarat. An orange alert has been issued in 6 districts of the state, including Chhota Udepur, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod and Panchmahal. Thunderstorms are likely to occur in these areas
Apart from this, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in 17 districts of the state till 1 pm. These include Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Botad, Kheda, Anand, Banaskantha, Vadodara, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang, Valsad, Patan and Union Territory of Daman and Dadra and Nagar Have
On the other hand, Banaskantha district has once again experienced rainfall. Drizzle has started in many areas including Palanpur. Apart from this, areas including Vadgam and Amirgarh have started drizzling and slow rains in some places
Also, there has been a sudden change in the atmosphere in Dahod district. Rain has already started in Dahod city and adjoining areas and the Meteorological Department has forecast light rain in Dahod for the next 3 hours
