A dumper filled with sand got stuck in a pothole on Berana Road in Himmatnagar city due to the road blockage. Due to this, there was a traffic jam. However, the dumper was pulled out with the help of a hydra machine at night. Recently, the municipality had done sewer line, rainwater pipeline and road work on Berana Road in Himmatnagar. After the completion of the work, there have been frequent incidents of road sliding and falling here. Earlier too, vehicles were stuck in potholes and orchards. On Tuesday night, a dumper filled with sand was passing through Berna Road. Then the road sat near the drain lid. As a result, one of the tyres at the rear of the dumper landed in the pothole. As a result, the dumper filled with sand rose from the front and the movement of vehicles on the road was affected. As soon as the incident was reported, a Hydra machine was brought in. After a lot of hard work, the dumper was pulled out of the pothole. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Berna Road is one of the busiest roads in the city. The frequent incidents of road slogging and landslides here have led to anger among the locals and passers-by against the work of the municipality. People are questioning the quality of road work and are demanding a permanent solution to the pothole problem.
