Work under redevelopment project: Housing Board to construct 3,000 houses at 7 locations including Vijayanagar

The Gujarat Housing Board will soon start operations under the redevelopment project in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. New houses will be constructed at Pragatinagar, Vadaj, Vasna and Vijayanagar. In Gandhinagar too, new houses will be built and allotted through draws for people belonging to low income groups. The area where the space will be surveyed and how many units will be built will be reviewed before the operation of the housing scheme. According to the new rules of the Housing Board, only those with 30-40 times of construction will build the house. Redevelopment work will be carried out at two places in Vadaj, one place each at Pragatinagar, Vadaj, Vasna and Vijayanagar. A total of more than 3 thousand houses will be built in 6 places in Ahmedabad. In all housing schemes, houses will be allotted for lower income group, middle income group and higher income group. The work is progressing on the basis of the consent shown by the residents for the project to be executed under the redevelopment plan. More than 500 houses to be built in Gandhinagar More than 500 houses will be built for the redevelopment project in Gandhinagar. The Housing Board has started work on the basis of the existing tender and in the coming days, the agency will be decided by evaluating the bid by opening the tender and according to the estimate of the board, the target is to start operations after Diwali.
