Illegal coal mining in Khampalia, 7 transformers seized: Chotila Deputy Collector and team raided government land and took action

Chotila Deputy Collector H.T. Makwana, Muli Mamlatdar and PGVCL A joint team of Muli visited the land in government survey numbers 50 and 161 of Kampaliya village. 7 Transformers (TCs) used in illegal coal mining activities were removed and seized from the site. This action has been taken against illegal coal mining. Six months ago, Deputy Collector Chotila H.T. Makwana along with his team conducted surprise raids on the same government land. At that time, illegal coal mining was found to be being carried out by the following persons: (1) Khodabhai Limbabhai Rabari (2) Alabhai Limbabhai Rabari (3) Prabhubhai Ghusabhai Koli (4) Jemabhai Harjibhai Bavaliya (5) Pemabhai Harjibhai Bavaliya (6) Khimabhai Merubhai Rabari (7) Merubhai Ramabhai Rabari (8) Govindbhai Lakhabhai Rabari (9) Rajabhai Lakhabhai Rabari (10) Mangabhai Kanabhai Bavaliya (11) Bhimabhai Bharwad has caused extensive damage to the government property by illegally mining coal in the government land. During the current visit, how much excavation has taken place at the site and how much illegal excavation has been done was also examined. Action has been initiated under the Land Grabbing Act against all those involved.
