Vadodara: A wanted accused in a case registered in the Eco Cell of extortion and usury in Surat two years ago has been arrested from Vadodara and handed over to the Surat police.
According to the police, a case was registered in the Eco Cell in Surat in 2024 in which the victim was allegedly forced to write cheques worth Rs 90 lakh by three men to recover Rs 40 lakh as interest.
