The Indian team has set a record for the biggest run chase at Eden Gardens by achieving the target of 196 runs against the West Indies. Earlier, the biggest run chase in T20 at Kolkata's Eden Gardens was 158 runs. That record was also set by the Indian team against the West Indies.

India had to score 17 runs in the last 2 overs. On the second ball of the 19th over, Hardik Pandya was dismissed for 17. The difficulties started increasing, but then Shivam Dubey came and hit 2 fours within 3 balls.
