Israel US Defence Deal: Israel will buy two more squadrons of F-35I and F-15IA fighter jets from the US. This announcement was made by the Israeli Defense Minister on Sunday. The Ministry said in its statement that later this week, a Defense Deal Committee made up of senior ministers approved the plan of the Ministry of Defense.   Under this, the fourth F-35I squadron will be purchased from Lockheed Martis and the second F-15IA squadron from Boeing. These deals are worth billions.

will increase the number of the Israel Air Force fleet
With this, the number of F-35I fleets of the Israel Air Force will increase to 100 with the addition of aircraft in the coming years. The number of F-15IA fleets will increase to 50. Israel has 48 number of F-35I. It was part of the initial order for 50 aircraft.

2023, 25 more F-35 aircraft were ordered. Their deliveries are expected to begin in 2028. Israel ordered 25 F-15IA aircraft in 2024. Deliveries of the first of these aircraft are expected to begin in 2031.
