A 74-year-old man, a resident of Radha Krishna Park Society in Akota area of Vadodara city, was robbed of his gold chain. The accused came to the Activa wearing an orange T-shirt of Swiggy company and called the elderly man out of the house on the pretext of delivering a parcel and snatched the chain. Fearing that it was a bomb, the family was scared to open the parcel and finally found a packet of Bundi in it. Hasmukhbhai Jairambhai Patel, who lodged a complaint at Akota police station about the incident, said that on January 3, 2026, at around 4 pm, he and his wife were present at home.
