The Jorawarnagar police have busted a country liquor furnace in Kudla village of Wadhwan taluka of Surendranagar district. On the basis of information received by the police, a raid was conducted on the unpaved road from Kudla village to Sitapur, near the meter gauge nullah of the railways in the eastern direction. A country liquor furnace was operating here which was detected by the police. Police seized around 2,300 litres of hot and cold wash, valued at Rs 3.45 lakh, from the spot. Apart from this, around 155 litres of hot and cold country liquor valued at Rs 3.10 lakh was also recovered. The police have seized a total of Rs 6.55 lakh worth of valuables. A process has been initiated to register a case against them. The entire operation was carried out by the police inspector of Jorawarnagar police station, V.M. It was carried out by ASI Kuldeep Singh Amar Singh and police staff under the guidance of the tank.
