Urs begins on Upper Datar Mountain: Chandan ritual performed once a year, devotees gathered on the mountain at an altitude of 3200 feet

On this day, chandan rituals of priceless and accomplishmental ornaments worn by Datar Bapu are performed. These ornaments are taken out for darshan from the cave only once a year. Devotees climbed 3000 steps The Datar mountain is situated at an altitude of 2779 feet, where one has to climb 3000 steps to have darshan. However, there was a rush of devotees not only from Junagadh but also from far and wide for the darshan of Datar Bapu. On this occasion, Junagadh MLA Sanjay Kordia, Mayor of THE CORPORATION, De. Leaders from the religious field, including mayors, political and social leaders, were also present. Junagadh police had also made arrangements to maintain the spirit of brotherhood and police officers also participated in the celebrations. Organising various events in the four-day Urs The urs will run for four days and will have various cultural programmes including bhajans, qawwalis, in which children, elderly and elderly will all enjoy. Speaking on the occasion, Mahant BhimBapu of Upla Datar said that the Urs fair of Datar Bapu comes every year in the place of Junagadh Upper Datar. At night, the whole place is illuminated by the lamp. Devotees take prasad and are happy to have darshan. It is believed that Jamiyalshah Datar Bapu, who is present here, fulfills the wishes of the devotees and blesses them. Hence the name of this place has become popular as "Datar".
