According to a PTI report, the Ernakulam South police in Kochi registered a case on Sunday based on a woman's complaint. The complaint pertains to an alleged incident that took place in 2022. According to the police, he allegedly forcibly entered the woman's apartment in Alamkulam and sexually assaulted her. The case has been registered under Sections 74 and 75 of the Indian Judicial Code. According to officials, the statement of the complainant was taken before filing a case. He said a notice would be issued to the film director for questioning. However, Chidambaram has not reacted to the allegations so far. Who is Chidambaram S. Poduwal? Chidambaram S. Poduval is the director and writer of a Malayalam film. He has directed the films 'Jane E.Man' (2021) and 'Manjummel Boys' (2024). Chidambaram got special recognition from 'Manjummel Boys'. 'Manjummel Boys' became the first Malayalam film to gross more than Rs 200 crore. It surpassed 2018 (2023) to set a record for the highest-grossing Malayalam film.
