Pt. Vijay Shankar Mehta's column: Journey from the body to the soul in marriage

Marriage is arranged so that a deficiency in life is fulfilled. Let the happiness that a man is looking for before marriage should be obtained. No one imagines sorrow. But these days the meaning of marriage is changing. A generation will forget that marriage is a sacrament. And that's why the side effects will be more visible in it. When marriage was considered a sacrament, they faced it with maturity when there was grief between husband and wife. There was no system of marriage in our culture. Men and women were free to relate to each other. Shwetaketu started this tradition. One day when he was sitting with his parents and a man started taking his mother, the father explained that let him go, anyone can relate to anyone. Shwetaketu protested and started the divine tradition of marriage. This body is not meant for enjoyment in this way. Therefore, this tradition should be preserved today and it should be understood that in marriage, men and women should go beyond each other's bodies and travel to the soul. This is the spirit of its culture.
