Light to heavy rainfall has been predicted in Bhavnagar district for the next four days from Sunday, June 6 to Wednesday, June 9. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains have been predicted in Bhavnagar, Amreli, Navsari, Valsad as well as Dadra and Nagar Haveli areas with an orange alert on June 6. While the district received half to one-and-a-half inches of rain on Friday, bhavnagar city and the district received 23 mm rainfall in Talaja taluka and 14 mm in Ghogha taluka. It rained half an inch. Bhavnagar city, Palitana and Jesar were lashed by thunderstorms.
