District police chief Safin Hasan and deputy police chief Kamlesh Vasava directed to take strict action against illegal drugs. Under this, Balasinor Town PI A.N. Ninama received information that a large quantity of ganja had been cultivated in a field in Muwada village of Ratnaji in Vaddala taluka. The market value of the seized ganja is around Rs. 2,36,98,000/- (Two crore thirty-six lakh ninety-eight thousand). The police have arrested the accused, identified as Waghji Shivabhai Parmar (R/o Ratnaji's Muwada, Balasinor, G. Mahisagar) in connection with the case. Strict action has been taken against anti-social activities in Mahisagar district since police chief Safin Hasan took charge.
