From Balasinor, Rs. Ganja worth Rs 2.37 crore seized: Police arrest one man with 473 kg ganja from Muwada village in Ratnaji; 258 Plants Found Hidden Under Castor Trees

The police seized Rs 10,000 crore from Muwada village of Ratnaji in Balasinor taluka of Mahisagar district. Ganja worth Rs 2.37 crore has been seized. One of the accused has been arrested with 473 kg of ganja plants planted under the guise of castor crop in the field. In Balasinor, Rs. Cannabis worth Rs 2.37 crore seized District police chief Safin Hasan and deputy police chief Kamlesh Vasava directed to take strict action against illegal drugs. Under this, Balasinor Town PI A.N. Ninama received information that a large quantity of ganja had been cultivated in a field in Muwada village of Ratnaji in Vaddala taluka. During the search, 258 small and large cannabis plants were found hidden under the guise of castor plants. The police have arrested the accused, identified as Waghji Shivabhai Parmar (R/o Ratnaji's Muwada, Balasinor, G. Mahisagar) in connection with the case. NDPS case against the accused A case has been registered under the Act and further legal action has been taken. Strict action has been taken against anti-social activities in Mahisagar district since police chief Safin Hasan took charge.
