Two youths killed in collision between moped and bike near Samli

The drivers of both the vehicles were killed on the spot after a collision between a moppet and a bike on the road from Chakadia Chowk to Samli in Godhra. The moppet and the 3 occupants of the bike were referred to Vadodara with serious injuries. Niteshbhai Natwarsinh Makwana, a 34-year-old resident of Wellwala Falia in Velvad village of Godhra taluka, was on his way to his in-laws' house at Vanakpur with his two children Sandhya U.V., 4 and Piyush U.V., 5. Sandhya and Piyush, who were riding the bike, sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Bergman moppet, Nilesh Kumar Ramanlal Panda, also succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Jaimin Salot, who was sitting behind the moped, sustained serious injuries and two youths died on the spot in the accident. Three of the injured were rushed to Godhra Civil Hospital by 108 for further treatment. A complaint was lodged at Godhra taluka police station about the accident.
