A middle-aged man was shot dead near the old bus stand in Malia Miyana town yesterday evening. Due to a business dispute, the men in the car opened fire and carried out the incident. A complaint has been registered against six persons in the matter and police have launched an investigation. The deceased has been identified as Haiderbhai Sumarbhai Movar. His wife Sainaben Haiderbhai Movar (26) has lodged a complaint at Malia Miyana police station. According to the complaint, the accused are Ilias Musabhai Movar, Shafir Musabhai Mowar and four other unidentified persons. For the past two years, Haiderbhai had a grudge against the accused, who was killed in the case. The accused came in a black Swift like car. Accused Shafir fired at Haiderbhai with a deadly weapon like a gun. He suffered severe injuries on his head, neck, chest and abdomen, due to which he died on the spot. Malia police have registered a case based on the complaint and are conducting investigations to nab the accused.
