Devotees throng Jadeshwar Mahadev Temple in Morbi during the month of Sawan: Devotees from all over the country take advantage of darshan, puja and prasad

Devotees from all over the country throng the Jadeshwar Mahadev temple located on Ratan Hill in Wankaner taluka of Morbi district during the month of Shravana. The trust arranges accommodation and food for the devotees who come to take advantage of the darshan, worship and prasad of Lord Shiva. Jadeshwar Mahadev Temple Laghu Mahant Jitendrabhai Trivedi said that special arrangements have been made for darshan for the devotees during the month of Sawan. On normal days, the temple is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, while in Shravan darshan can be done from 4:00 am to 10:30 pm. The timing of the aarti is Mangala Aarti at 4:15 am, Madhyan Aarti at 12:00 pm and Evening Aarti at 7:45 pm. In the month of Shravan when the area around Ratan Hill becomes green during the monsoon, especially during holidays, a large crowd is seen here. Wheelchair arrangements are available for senior citizens and Divyangs. There is ample parking facility for vehicles like bikes, cars, buses around and above the temple, so that there is no inconvenience to the visitors. After parking the vehicle, the temple can be reached by walking a maximum of 500 feet to half a kilometer. Unlike most temples, there is no restriction on carrying mobile phones here. However, men have to wear dhoti and women have to wear saris to worship near the Shivling of Mahadev. The trust has set up 80 rooms for the visitors, which are available free of cost.
