Three persons have been arrested by the City A-Division police for gambling on a ludo game in Morbi city. The police seized a total of Rs 1,000 crore from them, including cash and mobile phones. Legal action has been taken by seizing Rs 6,500 worth of goods. According to the information received, a team of Morbi City A-Division police station was patrolling on Vavdi Road. In the meantime, three men were seen sitting in a suspicious circle in front of Thakar Dhani Tea Stall. When the police investigated them, it was found that they were gambling on victory and loss on the ludo game. The police took immediate action and detained Nandlal Laxmanbhai Raiyani (41, R/o Shanala Road, Marketing Yard Canteen Room, Original Sajanpar Dhunda Village), Bilal Adambhai Landha (35, R/o Ranchhodnagar, Nidhi Park Society, Morbi) and Naeem Nurmamadbhai Chania (24, R/o Visipara, Morbi). Rs 1,500 in cash and an Android mobile phone were recovered from the accused. Goods worth Rs 6,500 were seized. Police have registered a case under the Gambling Act against the three accused and further investigation is on.
