Vadodara: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to reduce the use of petrol and diesel at the Sardardham inauguration ceremony in Vadodara, the MS University authorities have also issued a guideline for the staff of the university and appealed to them to save energy.
According to the circular issued by the Registrar, all the faculty deans have been advised to accommodate more than one person in a car wherever possible, use public transport or bicycles and celebrate one day a week as Motor Vehicle Day. In offices and classrooms, lights, fans, ACs and computer bins are not turned on unnecessarily.
