New Delhi: The Indian Railways has taken a major decision to enhance the convenience of devotees visiting the holy 'Magh Mela-2026' to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Train No. 22969 Okha-Varanasi Superfast Express passing through Rajkot division of Western Railway has now been announced to give a temporary halt at Prayag station. According to the railway administration, the train will stop at Prayag station for 2 minutes to cater to the huge rush of devotees. The train will reach Prayag station at 23:23 pm and depart for Varanasi at 23:25 hrs. This special arrangement will be effective with immediate effect till February 20, 2026. It is to be noted that apart from this stoppage, there has been no change in the scheduled schedule or route of the train.
