Vadodara News: Elderly woman crushed by a dumper in Parthampura village of Savli

Vadodara: A 60-year-old woman, Shardaben Parmar, was crushed by a dumper running like a bull in Savli taluka of Vadodara district. Shardaben was returning home after finishing work from her farm when the tragic accident occurred. The woman died tragically on the spot due to serious injuries sustained when the wheel of the dumper overturned.

The incident took place when he was returning home from the field.

Following this heart-wrenching incident, a crowd of locals from the vicinity gathered at the spot and there was a lot of anger among the people. The accident led to traffic jams on both sides of the main road and long queues of vehicles. A convoy of Savli police rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The police have taken control of the situation and have started a legal investigation into the accident.

According to locals, the overspeed dumpers running on the rural roads of Savli taluka are proving to be like Yamadoot for the drivers. Despite repeated representations, the administration does not control the speed of these reckless dumpers, which puts the lives of small motorists and pedestrians at risk on a daily basis. After the accident, there has been panic in the entire diocese and there has been a strong public demand against the administration to curb the speed of the dumpers running recklessly.
