Vadodara News: PM Modi will visit Vadodara on September 8, will inaugurate the development works of Municipal Corporation and VUDA

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Vadodara, he will lay the foundation stone of development works worth about Rs 1,000 crore of VMC and VUDA. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Vadodara on September 8.

Development works of various departments under the State Government

As the Prime Minister is going to lay the foundation stone for the development works of various departments of the central and state governments, VMC and VUDA have also started making a list of their commas. In which only works worth more than Rs 25 crore have been taken up in the list. The Prime Minister is planning to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of works worth about Rs 1,000 crore of VUDA and the municipal corporation. 

Works including laying of foundation stone of new office building of VMC

The works include laying of new storm water drains by manual pushing and RCC box drain at Golden Chowk, Ajwa Chowk, Waghodia Chowk, Kapurai Chowk, Tarsali Chowk at a cost of Rs.30.48 Crores, Elevated Tank in Bhayali TP 3 and 4 Area, Underground Complex at a cost of Rs.32.61 Crore, 150 MLD Pontoon at Ajwa Sarovar and Foundation Stone for New VMC Office Building at a cost of Rs.32.93 Crore.

PM to address intellectuals and Gen-Z

International Literacy Day is celebrated on September 8 every year to raise awareness about the importance of literacy in the world, to eradicate illiteracy and to ensure that every person has the opportunity to read and write.
