There was a sudden change in the atmosphere in the Talala diocese of Gir Somnath district in the afternoon. Rains lashed rural areas including Dhava, Ramresi, Chitrad. The arrival of rain after a long time also brought relief to the locals. The rains in Talala diocese are likely to benefit the monsoon crop. After a long break, the rains have watered the standing crops in the fields. However, the amount of rainfall and the rainfall conditions in the coming days will be more important for the crop.              

Amreli district also rains

Amreli district has also seen the arrival of Meghraja again. In the afternoon, there was a change in the atmosphere in the rural areas of Gir diocese. Villages including Sarsia and Govindpur in Dhari Girkantha received rainfall. For the past few days, heat and heavy rains have been experienced. In such a situation, the atmosphere cooled down due to the rain showers. The arrival of rain in the rural areas of Gir Somnath and Amreli gave people some relief from the heat.

Moderate rain forecast for next two days

The Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to moderate rainfall in the state for the next two days. Kutch, Saurashtra,   Moderate to moderate rain is likely to occur in some parts of South Gujarat and North Gujarat. The monsoon has departed from Naliya to Deesa. The state is still experiencing an 11 per cent rainfall deficit in the monsoon season. Kutch and Saurashtra are still witnessing a deficit of 24 per cent rainfall.   If you look at the zone-wise figures, Kutch zone has received 57.60 percent rainfall so far.   North Gujarat has received 71.04 per cent of the seasonal rainfall, while Central Gujarat has received 89.67 per cent of the seasonal rainfall. Apart from this, Saurashtra has received 71.29 per cent of the season's rainfall so far and South Gujarat has received 114.23 per cent of the season's rainfall.
