Incessant rains in the taluka affected public life. Six inches of rain fell in Mangwana and Ukheda, four and a half inches in Netra and four inches in Nakhatrana from last night to Monday evening. Water entered people's homes in Nakhatrana. Ponds were created near Keshav Saraswati Vidya Mandir as well as Archana School. Vehicular traffic was affected in Vathan and bus station area. Dharmendragiri Goswami, Sarpanch of Mangwana, said that earlier 24 inches of rain was recorded, again the dams and ponds have been washed away for the second time due to six and a half inches of rain. Ukheda sarpanch Tushargiri Goswami said that all the dams and ponds in the area were overflowing for the third time due to the rainfall of six and a half inches on Ravi and Monday till Ukheda, Rasliya, Khombhadi, Kadia Nana Mota, Jadodar, Vamoti, Samanda. Haroon Kumbhar of Netra said that the cloud grace was continuing in villages including Laxmipar, Badiyara, Netra, Khirsara, Rampar, Sarwa, Nagviri. Villages including Kottad Jadodar, Ugedi, Vigodi, Desalpar, Muru, Iyer, Amara, Ratadiya, Dhamai and other villages of the taluka received cloud cover. The bus station of the village was turned into a lake after four and a half inches of rain fell in the Netra area in 24 hours. The fire broke out due to a short circuit in Khirsara village.
