No one is interested in exhibiting at the Janmashtami fair at the Race Course Ground, 2 plots of the exhibition converted into food, earnings increased by Rs 15 lakh from last year

Saurashtra's biggest Janmashtami folk fair is going to be held from September 2 to 6 at the Race Course ground in Rajkot. After the draw held on August 1, the process of auctioning the plots started from today, August 4. On the first day itself, the figure was Rs 15 lakh more than the first day of last year. Auction of plots and earnings on the first day Chairman of the Folk Mela Implementation Committee and Provincial Officer A.S. Jhapda said the total revenue from the first day of the auction has gone up to Rs 53.40 lakh. As no one showed interest in the two large plots set aside for the Expo or Exhibition, they were allotted for food (a total income of Rs 5.40 lakh at the rate of Rs 2.70 lakh per plot).
