Deputy Collector Chotila H.T. Makwana made a surprise visit to the Thangadh Mamlatdar office at 10.10 am yesterday. He made a detailed inspection of 12 different branches of the office. The investigation included land, revenue, criminal, social security, accounting, revenue, general, mid-day meal scheme, supply, e-dhara, public service and registry branches. The deputy collector held a meeting of all the employees after the inquiry. He instructed the employees to work as per government rules and provisions. The employees were asked to work in the interest of citizens without any personal interest and complete all the works within the stipulated time frame. The deputy collector met the applicants present in the office face to face and listened to their problems. Appropriate instructions were given to the concerned employees to resolve the problems of the applicants.
