Nilesh Devjibhai Parmar, 23, of Katosan (Rajpura) village in Detroj taluka of Mehsana district drowned in the river on Sunday afternoon. As soon as the incident was reported, searches were carried out for seven hours continuously by the Idar and Himmatnagar fire departments as well as local villagers, but their bodies were not found. The body was found 12 hours later.
A total of 40 firemen, including Himmatnagar, Idar, Vijapur fire department and SDRF teams, resumed the search from 7 am on Monday morning. Finally, after 12 hours of intensive search, nileshbhai's body was found at 10 am today. The police have shifted the body to the PM and further action is underway. Meanwhile, Alpesh's leg slipped due to a lot of green on the stones near the waterfall. Suddenly he fell into a stream of running water, due to which he died tragically on the spot.
