Strait of Hormuz: Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have once again reached the seventh sky. The United States has claimed control of the Strait of Hormuz after talks between the United States and Iran failed in Pakistan. This announcement has added to the woes of Indian vessels. On April 11, 2026, the 10th Indian flag LPG tanker 'Jag Vikram' crossed the Strait of Hormuz and reached the Arabian Sea. The ship was carrying 20,400 tonnes of LPG and 24 crew members. The ship is scheduled to arrive in Mumbai on April 15.
