Rafiq, who worked in the same department and lived there, trapped her in his love trap last November 2024 and lured her to Gopi Talav and raped her against her will. With the help of the railway police, the girl was rescued from the train at Jhansi. Later, on the 22nd, he blackmailed the girl and abducted her. After the girl's family lodged a complaint with the Dindoli police, the Dindoli police, who got the location of the girl, found that she was going to Uttar Pradesh by train. So, the Dindoli police got the help of the railway police and got the girl out of the train at Jhansi. However, Rafiq, who fled the scene, evaded the police. The Dindoli police brought the girl to Surat and registered a case on the basis of her interrogation and arrested Rafiq Mohammad Subhan Ansari (U.V.20, R/o Plot No. 2, Jadia Compound, Near Krishna Petrol Pump, Udhna Canal, Surat. The police are currently investigating further. No criminal history of the accused has been found N.P. Gohil (ACP) said that Taruni was questioned by the railway police near Mahoba Junction on suspicion when she was travelling in the train. The railway police contacted the Dindoli police and her parents after the daughter told the truth. The daughter has since been brought back to Surat. A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of BNS (Indian Justice Code) and POCSO (POCSO) Act. Police have detained the accused and further legal investigation is underway. The investigation so far has not found any criminal history of the accused, but details will be sought from the Bihar Police as well.
