The rainy innings that started today in Surat has once again opened the municipal pole. The drainage system of the municipality has failed against only two to two and a half inches of rain in Surat on Sunday. Due to the rains today, many areas including river flow, Katargam, Dindoli, VIP Road on Bhestan Road connecting Surat Navsari were flooded. People had to face a lot of inconvenience due to waterlogging in several areas of the city.
It was raining slowly in Surat yesterday but the rains started with a bang since Sunday morning and received two to two and a half inches of rain.
