Politics heats up while filing nomination forms for Surat Municipal Corporation elections. BJP and Aam Aadmi Party workers shouted slogans at each other. BJP candidates reached the collector's office to fill the form in the victory muhurat. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates and a large number of workers reached the collectorate premises in the presence of Gopal Italia and Manoj Sorathia. That's when the BJP raised the slogan of 'Modi-Modi'. Aam Aadmi Party workers were also seen chanting 'Jai Gopal'. The sloganeering of the workers of both the parties also echoed in the collector's premises. The sloganeering became so fierce that the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP also came to the rescue. However, the present leaders and the police intervened and stopped the activists. There is a three-cornered fight in the Surat Municipal Corporation elections. There will be an election battle between the BJP, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.
