1292 pilgrims from Ahmedabad leave for Somnath: Somnath Swabhiman Parv celebrations Train departure

The Somnath Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, started its Somnath Swabhiman Parv celebrations from January 8 when a special train from Sabarmati railway station in Ahmedabad left for Somnath. A total of 1292 pilgrims will reach Somnath by this special train. The train was flagged off from Sabarmati railway station by MP Dinesh Makwana, BJP president Prerak Shah and Mayor Pratibha Jain at night with drums, drums, conch shells and chants of 'Har Har Mahadev, Jai Somnath'. Chants of Har Har Mahadev echoed at Sabarmati Railway Station The pilgrims reached Sabarmati railway station at 10:00 pm to go to Somnath. The workers, including BJP office bearers and corporators, were on their way to Somnath, before the Sabarmati railway station resounded with drums, drums, conch shells and chants of 'Har Har Mahadev' and 'Jai Somnath'. The Somnath Swabhiman Parv is an occasion to celebrate the pride in India's spiritual and cultural heritage. This strengthens the spirit of national self-respect. The festival is reviving the historical saga associated with Somnath Mahadev temple, India's unwavering faith, culture that remained steadfast in the face of invaders and a symbol of the nation's self-respect. On this occasion, local MLAs Dinesh Singh Kushwaha, Harshad Patel, Jitu Bhagat, Kaushik Jain, former MLA Bhushan Bhatt, Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani, Provincial Adhikari and a large number of officials and pilgrims were present.
