Accident between two bikes and an icer, car near Airport Circle: One killed on the spot, three injured; Heartbreaking cry of family members

Vadodara: An elderly man died on the spot after a collision between two bikes and an icer near Airport Circle in Vadodara city. One person has been rushed to a private hospital with serious injuries. A pedestrian died on the spot in the incident. In this incident, the icer driver first hit a tree and then blew up a pedestrian on the exit and later hit two bikes and a car. A 69-year-old man died on the spot. The accident took place when the icer driver, who was coming at full speed from Amitnagar Circle, hit a tree before heading towards Airport Circle from Amitnagar Circle. The icer then struck a pedestrian, two bikes and a car 60 to 70 feet ahead. The deceased, identified as Hasmukhbhai Somabhai Vankar (69), died on the spot while another bike rider, Dilipbhai, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a private hospital for treatment. The bark of the trees came off as the icer hit Divya Bhaskar reached the spot where the bark of a tree was uprooted and hit by an icer driver. The icer driver succumbed to his injuries on the spot after hitting a pedestrian who was advancing. One of the shoes of the deceased was also found at the spot. A car and two bikes were damaged in the entire incident. The deceased has been shifted to Sayaji Hospital for postmortem. The Harni police are investigating the matter further. A search has been launched for the driver who fled the scene Regarding the incident, GB Bambhania said, "There was an icer four-wheeler at 10 am today. The icer was coming from the LT side towards the airport. For some reason, the driver lost control and hit the pedestrian, Hasmukhbhai Somabhai (69) who was his grandfather. Prashantbhai was the driver of one of the passions and the other was Dilipbhai. Three people were stabbed. One person has died. "The driver fled the scene in the incident, but the three labourers were brought in," he said. The driver had fled at the time. We are currently in the process of registering a case in this regard.
