Goons in Chandkheda, CCTV: One youth took off his T-shirt and beat him up, while another was vandalised and set ablaze by shouting racial slurs

Terror of anti-social elements has come to light in Chandkheda area of Ahmedabad city. Videos of two separate incidents have also surfaced. On January 4, a young man was beaten up for coming to the basement of the society. After a minor altercation, the agitated anti-social elements stripped him of his clothes and beat him to death. Due to which the youth was seriously injured and was taken for treatment. On the evening of January 5, some anti-social elements vandalised the vehicle and set it on fire after making a young man stand in an Activa. The goons were armed with sticks and knives in their hands. Videos of both the incidents have surfaced in which it can be clearly seen how these goons are bullying in public and as if they have no fear of the police. A complaint has been registered at Chandkheda police station in both the incidents. Seeing people with knives and sticks in their hands, they left the Activa and ran away On the evening of January 5, Kirtanbhai left with his friend Vedanta with an Activa. At that time, Manthan Thakor and Siddharaj Thakor parked the Activa in front of the gate of KB Royal Homes. Vedant Verma and CK Chauhan, despite denying to be friends with them, made casteist remarks saying why they hang out with people. After which the agitated anti-social elements thrashed the complainant and his friend. After this, the complainant and his friend fled leaving the Activa as some other people also came with sticks in their hands. Activa vandalised and set on fire After this, some anti-social elements vandalized Activa with sticks and stones in public. An atmosphere of fear also prevailed in the vicinity due to the terror of anti-social elements. The complainant's Activa was smashed with iron pipes and sticks. After breaking the Activa, anti-social elements also set it on fire. They took sticks and knives and created terror on the public road. A video of the entire incident has also surfaced. In which anti-social elements are seen creating terror with sticks and knives in their hands. It is also seen vandalizing Activa. The complainant has lodged a complaint against 9 people at Chandkheda police station. A complaint has been registered against 9 people, including Manthan Thakor, Siddharaj Thakor, Kishore Thakor, Amit Thakor. Why are you coming to the basement? Mayank Joshi, 36, was publicly beaten up by some people on July 4. The entire incident took place outside the complainant's society around 10 pm. The complainant went to an ice cream shop called Amor Parlour. A man named Akash Thakkar, who was living in the society at that time, had quarrelled with the complainant to come to the basement of the society. The complainant was subjected to nasty abuse saying why he was coming to the basement of the society. He took off his T-shirt and beat him up This was followed by a heated argument over a common issue. After this, Akash Thakkar and some of his friends beat up the complainant. Mayank Joshi was dragged out of the shop, took off his T-shirt and beaten. So the locals also gathered and tried to save the youth. He threatened to kill him Even after this, the mob did not stop beating up the youth. He also threatened to kill her if she came back to the basement. Also, the CCTV video of the youth being beaten has also surfaced. However, the complainant has lodged a complaint against Akash Thakkar, Hiren and others at Chandkheda police station. The police have registered a complaint and further investigation is underway.
