Bhaskar Special: A unique penance of The Shiva devotee of Patan: In 78 days, he walked 1900 km and had darshan of Baba Barfani in the Amarnath cave

Piyush Thakkar, a Shiva devotee from Patan, reached Amarnath on Monday after a 1900-km padayatra in 78 days and felt blessed to have darshan of Baba Barfani. After Kedarnath last year, he has completed the Amarnath yatra. They are undertaking a tough padayatra due to their immense faith in Lord Shiva. On April 21, Piyushbhai Thakkar, a Shiv devotee from Patan, had set out from Patan on foot to go to Amarnath. On the 78th day, he reached Amarnath on Monday after a 1900-km padayatra. And Baba had darshan of Barfani. He received the love of many future devotees during the yatra. When he reaches Patan by train on Thursday, he will be worshiped for the fines kept with him by his family in the yatra. The yatra was expected to be completed in 90 days but they have completed it in 78 days. Last year in 2024, he travelled 1400 km on foot from Patan to Kedarnath. He wants to travel on foot to 14 dhams for 14 years. These include Twelve Jyotirlingas, Pashupatinath Kathmandu Nepal and Amarnath Yatra. Out of 1900, 350 km passed through the hills, had to be hospitalised after falling ill in Punjab: Shiv Bhakt Shiv bhakt Piyushbhai Thakkar said that during the journey to Amarnath, I have had many experiences of Shiva's green. As the padayatra progressed, facilities were also available. Not only this, I have received a lot of love from army personnel, Shiv devotees and devotees applying bhandara during the yatra. The yatra also struggled a lot and had to pass through about 350 km of hills. He had to be hospitalised one day after he fell ill due to heat stroke in Punjab, but the yatra was not stopped.
