Vadodara: A two-day Bhakti Parv Mahotsav will be celebrated on the occasion of the 35th death anniversary of Pujya Swamiji.

On the occasion of Shravani Amavasya and the 35th death anniversary of Pujya Swamiji at Bhimnath Mahadev Temple in Savli, a two-day grand Bhakti Parv celebrations have been organized from tomorrow.

A two-day Bhakti Parv Mahotsav will be held at Shri Bhimnath Mahadev Temple on the occasion of the 35th death anniversary of Saint Shiromani Swamiji, who is known as Swamiji Savliwala, and is a replica of Pa.P. Gabinath Dada, one of the nine Naths of the Nath sect. Preparations are being finalized for the festival. The Bhimnath Mahadev temple premises have been decorated artistically with lights. Swamiji's Samadhi Mandir, Gabinath Dada's Samadhi Mandir, Shivalaya's Garbhagriha and Swamiji's holy seat are being decorated with various colourful flowers. It will be started tomorrow at 8:30 am on Thursday, 10th with Navchandi Yagna with chanting of mantras of Vidwan Bhudevs at the temple of Shri Sachi Amba Mataji, based on the yantra built by Swamiji. In which at 5:00 pm, Shriful Homa will be held. As per the tradition of years, the grand procession of the holy footwear of His Holiness Swamiji will depart from Jamnotri Bungalow at 2:00 pm. The procession will pass through the main roads of the city and reach Shri Bhimnath Mahadev Temple at the time of evening aarti. Various religious and cultural programs will be held on Friday, the 11th. Prahar Puja at 3:30 am, morning aarti at 5:00 am, Shehnai at 7:00 am and from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on the huge stage of Sangeet Pracharini Sabha with shehnai playing, the unbroken tunes of Om Namah Shivay Mantra will be sung by the famous artists of Vadodara. At 8:30 am, the Laghu Rudra Yagna will be started by the highly learned Bhudevs from Dakor, and at 2:00 pm, Shriphal will be Homa. Mahaprasadi will be held from 12:00 noon onwards for all the devotees who arrive at Shri Kedareshwar Bhavan. As the culmination of the Bhakti Parv Mahotsav, Sandhya Maha Aarti will be held at 7:00 pm. This will be followed by the recitation of Sundarakanda by famous singer Ashwinbhai Pathak at 8:30 pm. Preparations for the festival are in full swing in the temple premises and a large number of devotees are expected to throng.
