AMTS has started a pilot project of AI-based dash camera monitoring system for monitoring AMTS bus accidents and drivers in Ahmedabad. Cameras have been installed on the front side of the bus and near the driver. So that all the movements of the driver and on the road can be directly monitored. Initially, monitoring has been started by installing cameras in three buses. If this project is successful, cameras will be installed in all the buses. Bus running at overspeed will be warned by the system: Parag Naik Parag Naik, chairman of the AMTS committee, said that if the driver talks on mobile while driving, smokes or sleeps in a moving car, then the control room will be alerted immediately. At present, this monitoring system has been installed in three buses. He further said that under this pilot project, this monitoring system has been set up in about three buses. A camera has been placed at the front of the bus and towards the driver. So that if there is an accident, the control room will immediately know and it will also be identified whether the fault of the driver or the fault of any other vehicle driver can also be identified. It will be known whether the bus is running on time or not Through the Dash Cam Monitoring System, the location of the bus will also be known whether the bus is running on time. The bus drivers sometimes stop the bus and due to this, the passengers have to face inconvenience. There are also complaints about the AMTS bus coming late. After the success of the pilot project, cameras will be fitted in more than 900 buses. Through this monitoring system, if the bus is delayed due to traffic, it will also be immediately reported to the control room. After the success of this pilot project, a monitoring system will be installed in more than 900 buses so that everything from traffic problems on the road can be brought to the notice of the corporation.
